Derek Langlois

With over 25 years of experience in the Detroit area, Derek Langlois has coached players from the youngest squirt teams to college-level athletes.

In addition to coaching spring/summer select teams from various regions across the United States and Canada, Langlois holds a master’s degree in coaching from USA Hockey and has led the Northern select team, composed of native youth from western Canada.

Throughout his coaching career, Langlois has achieved remarkable success, including eight state championships, four national championships, and the Peewee Quebec championship and back-to-back Silver Sticks.

Langlois has mentored numerous players who have gone on to pursue their dreams in junior A Ontario Hockey League (OHL), NCAA, ECHL, AHL, and NHL.

With over two decades of experience in scouting within the North American hockey league (NAHL), United States Hockey League (USHL), and Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

Derek Langlois also played competitively up to the junior A level and attended a professional free agent camp in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1997.
